500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a huge, lacing white head. Light aroma of grain, spices and yeast. Flavor is sweet pale malt, slightly spicy, some fruit and white sugar. Medium body and decent aftertaste somehow. Pretty plain and straight forward, a bit too sweet, maybe some bitterness would help some to the balance. From trade with Cunningham.

Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, licorice, grass, weeds, minerals, hops, dark sugar, alcohol. Taste is harsh mineraly, weeds, chlorine, burnt licorice, grass, minerals, dark malts, harsh hops, bark, cardboard. Medium bitterness, harsh metallic mouthfeel, very soft carbonation.

Bottle. A big, off-white head, fluffy, leaves lacings over an unclear, golden body. The aroma is lightly citrusy and peachy, with some malty sugaryness in the back. Decent bitterness in the flavor, with peaches, some citrus and pine cones and a hint of pale malts. Medium body and a decent carbonation level. Long fruity finish with some pleasant bitterness. Quite yeasty all the way. Well, it’s a decent one, but far from impressive. 151231

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of yeast, malt, grass and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, floral and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Taste is slightly dry spiced, cloves, minerals, grass, weeds, nuts, bark, burnt caramel, cardamom, hay, caramel malts. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Taste is slightly sour-ish yeasty, weeds, sour grain, harsh yeast, minerals, grass, almond essence, grass, paper, glue. Little bitterness, watery and sour-ish harsh mouthfeel. Meh!

50cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg avd. Larvik. Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with some earthy notes, dark fruits, hints of chocolate, coffe and licorice. Medium to moderate sweet with nice roasty flavour and a moderate bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Decent brew.

Unclear dark golden color with a fine white head. Herbal, malty and mild fruity aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Malty, mild wotrt-ish, herbal and mild fruity flavor. Nice ok thirst quencher.
