Description
One of the first independent breweries in the Los Angeles area founded by Richard Marcello and Joel Elliott. Strand specializes in premium handcrafted ales and prides itself as a pillar of the craft community in South Bay. Strand brews its handcrafted beer in small batches, and beer fans appreciate the time and energy that goes into the beverages. The first working production brewery in the city of Torrance, Strand now brews a range of different beers. Their larger facility also boasts a spacious taproom, which has helped grow Strand’s local customer base.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Earth and tropical fruit aroma. tropical fruit and pine flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and pine linger with light grapefruit.

Clear medium amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, dissipates quickly, hardly any lacing. Aroma toasted malts, grain, caramel. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, bread. Sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, rather bland but decent amber ale.

Pours clear dark golden with a small off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is floral, earthy and pine. Flavor of grapefruit, bready, pine and citrus

Tap at Rock & Brews LAX now that my missions accomplished can relax and enjoy some breakfast brews this vacay. Clearish orange Amber small dissipating head. Light nose of earth hops and fruit. Tastes of honey, earth, some tropical fruit, malt. Thin palate.
