Bottle at home. Over a year old, hope to try a fresher sample down the road. Aroma of biscuity malt, some tropical fruit notes, grapefruit, caramel, pine, hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter. A bit of a tame APA. Looking at other reviews this was malty to begin with.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is toasted malt with caramel, sweetish stewed fruity notes, and soft hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Decent Amber/Red Ale.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is roasted, some liquorice, mild toffee, alcohol and some dried fruity tones. Flavour is quite much the same elements as the aroma, but also has some chocolate, mild bitterness as well as some wooden tones to it.

Pale golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma - Malt body with a fruity hop flavour and some piney flavours that gives good bitterness - The fruity and piney hop goes into a dry bitter finish - This was good

On tap at Scout, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, toasted caramel, and light resinous hops. Flavour reveals robust citrus hops, with plenty of grapefruit, and a bit caramel malt base. Very citric, yet intensely malty. It's competently brewed, but far from my type of IPA.

Shaker pint draft at Strand Brewing in Torrance, California. The pour is mostly clear golden orange with a minimal white head. The aroma is soft roast coffee, hay and malt grain. The taste is clean herbal cereal malt grain along with a touch of the coffee roast. Nice balance. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a pleasant soft coffee finish. Nice take on the style.
