Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth but has good trailing minerally carbonation. Thin malts, reasonably sweet. A fair bit of floral bitterness bitterness kicks in and then morphs in to a more mellow pine. Juicy orange and bitterish marmalade. Light spicy orange finish. Pretty satisfying.

Sample at TK Pizza & Pasta. The beer pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sampled from bottle shared by BDomue. Hazy orange color, average sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, loads of hops, lightly a hint of old hops but the sticky piney resinous hops dominate. Taste malts, hops, loads of resinous and piney, hop bitter and bitter finish. Medium to full body, medoum carbonation. Nice!

One pint, nine oz bottle into a UK pint sleeve on 26th April 2016 in Laguna Niguel, cheers daughter for treating me to this. Orange hue to the clear amber body, beige head that tried to hang around. Hops all the way here with a semi-floral nose and a fairly bitter hop flavour. The malts do blend in nicely to balance the bitterness a little and the alcohol is just about noticeable within the brew. Liked it, pity about the ’hogwash’ on the label highlighting the breweries location and how lovely it is.

Bottle at tasting. Golden pour. Aroma of orange zest, citrus and malt. Taste is less good, bit thin, with malt, watery citrus and some grain. Too bad.

Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Nice pithy citrus aroma. Lightly sweet, with notes of pithy lemon, grapefruit rind, white bread. Light in body with average carbonation. Pithy finish with nice citrus note, faint pine needles. Nice one overall.

Thanks for sharing Neil! Pineapple and grapefruit on the nose with some orange zest as well. Biscuity malts, but not heavy in anyway. Very drinkable with good piney bitterness. Almost like a hoppy red ale. Bitter finish. Tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of Atticus on 06 Mar 2016 at 00:08 - Score: 7
