I was unwilling to face zwanze crowds so as consolation I head to store to find new Grimm cans but those weren’t there so I grabbed a bunch of random stuff without looking up cuz baby was crying. So here I am. Hazy copper pour no particular nose to speak of. Tastes of grains, light caramel, cardboard, some malt, light dried fruits. Nothing off putting about it.

Draught @ The Baroness. Clear amber color with largish foamy white head, doughy aroma, low carbonation, yeasty taste, abrupt finish. Not an interesting beer at all!

12oz can from Shoreline Beverage pours a clear, deep gold with lots of foamy, white head. Nose has quite a bit of corn, both creamed and dried, some dusty notes, a little dried flower petal, some metallic notes, gristy flour. Flavor is cheap malt, some straw, some more corn, dried lemon peel. Crisp finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy amber with a big beige head. Aroma of malt, a bit honey-ish, and stale hops. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of honey and caramel, rather stale hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

A golden kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, light fruity biscuit malt with faint hops. In mouth, a nice wit like offering with light banana, cloves, refreshing. On tap at Bacon and beer Classic.
