Cheap can from total wine. Pour is clear pale. Slight soapy nose, weird olfactory. Taste is initially civilized, lacks much of the ale bitterness I find in most domestic american ales. Goes down fairly easy. Not bad for an ale. Better than most. Easy drinken with no ill aftertaste.

From the Advent calendar.

It pours a very dark brown with a good head of tannish foam, good lacing.

I get notes of lactose and big chocolate,
vanilla, some roasted malt.

Big milk chocolate flavour, vanilla follows, roasted malt is almost like it is burnt. Very little bitterness and the sweet isn't over the top. Nice chocolate malty finish and aftertaste.

Maybe not quite medium body with light carbonation.

So drinkable and tasty.

On tap. Pours black. Chocolate, fruity, biscuit, creamy. Medium body. Smooth and clean. Decent.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white and light tan head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of peppermint, fake nuts and earth, a dash of soured notes (i’m not sure where they come from!) and some deep dark malts with some burnt aspects. Medium-bodied; Soured and very funky fake peppermint notes with a lot of roastiness along with some nutty qualities and a slight rustic earthy and musty finish with the grain finishing it off and a good deal of sugars at the tail end. Aftertaste shows the fake peppermint notes with some wierd sour flavours that are pretty noticeable and strong with a lot of sugars at the end and some roasty malts, but little of a body or robust beer throughout. Overall, a super odd and funky soured, barely minty, but super fake beer that has some good malt notes and a lot of caramelised sugars, but the mint and somehow sour components remain strong throughout - very interesting and not great for the style or the season, which is why I’m slightly happy to have this in May and not December! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from ABC Spirits in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (Store #004) on 30-April-2022 for US$4,89 sampled the next day here at my hotel in Bonita Springs, Florida on 01-May-2022.

Can from total wine clearwater. Big and black presentation with a tan head that fades rapidly. Nose is certainly milk chocolate, smells very yummy. Taste starts off with easy milk chocolate as well. Yes, you can tell there is some alky in there but fer sher it is milk chocolate, no bitter dark chocolate here. I'm surprised that it lacks the cloying character of many milk chocolate beers. It also retains its porter heritage. No sign of baltic porter here, straight up well behaved american style porter. Quite good, and its pretty much as advertised on the label; something you don't see too much of when you experience many domestic brews. Good job JB.

Can from total wine. Pour is cloudy dirty blond. Slight nose of perfumy fruit. Taste has an initial mild tartness to it. Some fruit in the background. A short layer of wheat ale bitterness sets in but its nothing like the bitterness so common of domestic wheat ales that have been bastardized by the IPA style. Yes, actually comes across as unique and somewhat refreshing. Not bad overall. Well balanced with the fruit. Finish has a tad more of that ale short bitterness set in but it never rises to a point of concern. Good level of cutting co2 clear to the end.

Lots of blueberry and a little graham cracker. Pours pinkish clear with decent head. Sweet finish. Not something you would want to drink a lot of. Tap at Rendezvous.

Could’ve sworn I must have had this but alas I guess not. Kinda ugly colored brew, it’s transparent copper rust. Nose is passion fruit And wheat and tastes the same. Watery palate sight artificial aftertaste

Blueberry brews used to be much a thing I feel. Gold pour. Nose is rather nice blueberry. Tastes the same some pine hops bitterness and citrus. Ok
