Description
We create everything from one-off experimental beers to a solid range of our favourite styles. There’s also a fair amount of dinosaurs (naturally) and retro video game references involved. We’re often at our Sneinton taproom, at various beer festivals, and obviously down the pub, so come and say Hi! Thank you for being on this journey with us and we hope you enjoy our beer as much as we enjoy making it!

Keg at the Bootlegger, 05/11/16. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is subtle whisky, chocolate, dark malts, red berry whisper, spice. Taste comprises light coconut shreds, bourbon splashed oak, Bounty Bar, light peppery spice, dark fruit tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tasty enough BA porter, hangs together well.

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Mild dark chocolate. Touch of milk chocolate and then a little coconut. Whisper of fruity bourbon. Light finish. Decent flavours but feels thin.

Keg tap at the Cambridge Blue. Brownish gold, cloudy. Sharp tangerine, a hint of rose petal in the aroma. Odd taste. Not bad but... odd. Bittersweet with a savoury note, almost baked potato. Bitterness is quite extreme in the finish. I like it well enough but there are issues.

Tried at the 2016 Nottingham beer Festival. Almost black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is musty, roasted malts and alcohol. Taste doesn’t balance the alcohol which makes it harsh.

Hazy gold beer, patchy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, semi sweet. Tangy orange and a fair bit of apple. A wrong un.

22nd August 2016
Almost clear amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and dry with reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy malts, some caramel. Tangy orange peel. Some awkward tasting hop skunk, slightly off. Floral hop. Trace of hop spice. Slightly messy but the overall experience is not terrible at all.
