[ As Neon Raptor Endangered ].Clear dark red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, nesquick, vanilla, moderate roasted, light vinegar tart. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, vinegar, lactic, chocolate, vanilla, sweet malt, milk chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161012] 6-3-5-3-11

Keg at the Bootlegger, 27/01/17. Golden amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is caramel, light pine, biscuit, bitter orange, splash of grapefruit. Taste comprises caramel malts, orange pith, bread dough, tropical fruit medley. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with earthy hop bitterness. Ok IPA.

[ As Neon Raptor Linear Sunrise ].Unclear mat medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, sweet wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, wood, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, dry. Keg at the Bootlegger, 05/11/16. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is subtle whisky, chocolate, dark malts, red berry whisper, spice. Taste comprises light coconut shreds, bourbon splashed oak, Bounty Bar, light peppery spice, dark fruit tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tasty enough BA porter, hangs together well.

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Mild dark chocolate. Touch of milk chocolate and then a little coconut. Whisper of fruity bourbon. Light finish. Decent flavours but feels thin.

Keg tap at the Cambridge Blue. Brownish gold, cloudy. Sharp tangerine, a hint of rose petal in the aroma. Odd taste. Not bad but... odd. Bittersweet with a savoury note, almost baked potato. Bitterness is quite extreme in the finish. I like it well enough but there are issues.

Tried at the 2016 Nottingham beer Festival. Almost black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is musty, roasted malts and alcohol. Taste doesn’t balance the alcohol which makes it harsh.
