Very, very dry, with a thin slice of cracker malts underneath grapefruit pith, pine, and a solid bitterness. Not a whole lot here; very upfront with its flavors without much depth.

04-03-20 // taster from a can. Clear pinkish rosé. Mild grapes in the nose. Mild sourness, soft tart. Some red grapes, rosé like, some cranberry, and yes some hibiscus. Pretty easy though, not much complexity.

04-03-20 // taster from a can. Unfortnately not the freshest anymore. Hops are already fading, missing the punch. But still a nice dipa. Stronger body. Some pine, grapefruit, oragne, good bitterness.

12 oz. can, thanks Timmy! Pours black, without much head. The aroma is vanilla, chicory, cinnamon, bitter chocolate, pecans, and earth. Sweet and syrupy, with an off bitterness. Heavy body, with a syrupy, sharp palate. Interesting and pretty tasty.

Seems like it treads a stylistic middle ground between a wit and a saison, with dry, grassy straw notes mixing with a slight yeasty tartness and modest fruit coming off the Huell Melons and Mandarina Bavarias. A bit undercarbonated, but pretty, with a frothy white head and good lacing. Drinkable, but all over the place as a saison.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall tan head that fades fairly quickly, but still leaves the body pretty opaque at around 80%. Aroma of toasted malt, light coffee and bitter notes some mellow chocolate and dry grain with very little else, and absolutely no sweetness. Light to Medium-bodied; Deep bittered malt flavours with some toasted grain, a touch of oatmeal, a dose of coffee and light chocolate grain but no sweetness from the chocolate or bitterness, as these flavours hit hard at first and fade to just about nothing but a light bitterness, nutty flavour and dry grainy flavour towards the end. Aftertaste shows some of the grain and bittered toasted malt with nothing else - no pungency, no sweetness and no real alcohol or malt backbone - this is pretty thin and bittering at first and for all. Overall, a decent-ish beer with some mild and relatively simplistic flavours without much depth or pungency, which is usually noticeable, especially for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Hop City at Krog Street Market (Inman Park) in Atlanta, Georgia on 31-May-2018 for US$1,79 sampled in my hotel room here in Atlanta/Buckhead, Georgia a few hours later on 31-May-2018.
