About
The Ayr Brewing Company brewed it's first ales in October 2009, and in a short space of time gained numerous awards at both local and national level. As a 5 Barrel Micro Brewery we are currently producing around 60 casks of ale a week and supplying pubs throughout the UK. We are the first brewery in the area for over 80 years and operate out of The Glen Park Hotel, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and our ales on tap in the bar/restaurant.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of freshly rubbed hops, earth and pine. Flavour is raw, sharp and very hoppy - notes of sawdust and orange pith. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Definitely one for the hop heads. I’d love to know the IBUs of this.

Light golden beer with a thin head and a light citrus aroma. Flavour is grassy citrus with a touch of hop and an almost creamy quality to it. Not special but not bad.
