Cask at The Joiners Arms, Bideford. It pours clear yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, doughy white bread, toasty grain, earthy, grass and floral notes. The taste is dry, bitter, chewy, toothy, green, grass, straw, floral, bit of spice, soapy citrus, biscuit and some grapefruit with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A fair enough golden bitter. Perhaps a bit green / raw, but not bad.

Pump Clip just said 'English Standard'. The landlord of the pub told me who brewed it. Cask pint at The Grove Inn, Kings Nympton, Devon on 10th Nov 2017. Light golden body, white crown. A little on the 'fizzy' side and fairly bland to be honest. Mild citrus fruity nose and flavour, some sweet malt action below the surface, sadly the least interesting of the three beers I had during my visit to the excellent Grove Inn.

[ As Yelland Manor Classic ].Clear medium orange color with a small, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, caramel, vegetables - floral notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141206]
