About
Founded in 2005. There are plans to re-establish a brewery in Alnwick . Later the Brewery moved to premises just outside Alnwick after being taken over by Harry Hotspur Holdings. They provide beers for sister company Lindisfarne, they also utilise brands Hawk Wing Beers and VIP.

We are owned and managed by Harry Hotspur Holdings a niche investment company with a vision to “preserve the past and build the future” for niche food and drinks businesses in Northumbria. In the portfolio there is also; Lindisfarne Limited famed for their world famous meads and also the Alnwick Rum Company.

Can from Taste of Northumberland. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon and honeydew melon. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Appearance - murky yellow with a thin white head.
Nose - grass, herbal and some melon.
Taste - creamy melon and some citrus. Still herbaceous.
Palate - light bodied, dry finish.
Overall - ok.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Haxy pale gold. Thin white band of a head. Aroma has grainy bitterness. Flavourwise it's spur with sweet malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Basic and clearly ot a NEIPA.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Aroma has herbs and citrus sourness. Bitter with some light fruit sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

Bottle from Taste Of Northumbria. Clear golden body with a light haze and an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and melon rind. Flavour of banana and clove. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An unusual and refreshing beer.

Bottle from Cobbett's Real Ales, Dorking to reach 20 Northumberland rates. Deep amber rather than ruby, with a light prickly fizz and a beige head. Nice plummy aroma, with wheat chaff, summer berries, toffee and malt. Sweetish but with a dry and gently bitter finish to balance. Rustic but rather enjoyable; would be best on cask with a ploughman's sat outside a traditional country pub.
