Bottled (thanks djoeye!). Ambery colour with a small foamy beige head. Aroma is floral, some mild chocolaty and toasted tones with mild caramel malts too. Flavour is floral, chocolaty, toasted, mild roasted notes with some nice bready malts. Surprisingly bodied for being only 4.7 %.

Bottle (thanks djoeye!). 9%. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted, roasted, some ashes with mild liquorice and toffee. Flavour is liquorice, some roasted and ashy tones with mild tobacco too. Some coffee in the aftertaste as well.

Bottled 500ml (AIH165, tnx Gaute) Hazy orange colour, medium-sized white head and lace. Light citrus and fruits in the nose. Fizzy. Crisp. Unfermented sugars. Fruityness, citrus, floral hops. Tolerable modern take on Kölsch.

Bottled 500ml (AIH165, tnx Gaute , alc 9%) Opaque colour, medium-sized brownish head. Toasted, a bit coffeish aroma.. Smooth medium to full-bodied. Salty licorice, black coffee in the roasted flavour. Some similarities to Nogne O IS. Nice.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Mahogany colour, mid sized head. Ashy rasiny nose. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Plums and toast. Mid bitter finish. Nice flavours, but would've loved more malt depth.

Kumlefjorden Juleølsmaking 2022. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is dry, yeast, bread, roasted malt, dark fruit, coffee, chocolate. Nice beer.

Spandert av Ragnhild. Delt med henne, A-L & Egil i D-501. Svart. Mokkafarget skum som blir raskt borte. Lett kaffearoma. Smaken litt kaffe. Smaken ditto. Påfyll av lakris. Røstet malt i avslutninga - men kaffen varer. Bra, men uvariert.

En rask tur innom julenissens verksted i Verksgata ga meg en nødvendig påfyll til min hemmelige julekalender, og etter et lynraskt opphold der er den klar til å nytes: brunsvart med utmerket, beige skum som varer. Litt lakris og urter, mest deilig kaffe. Noe syre og et bjørnebær eller to i avslutningen. Slank munnfølelse. Denne nissen blir glad og fornøyd etter hvert som glasset tømmes.
