500ml bottle, one glass at the hotel room, the rest of the bottle was handed over to Mr Cunningham. Deep black body, stable fawn coloured head, spotty lacing. Plain chocolate- coffee malts on the nose, smoothly roasted. Grainy choco-coffee taste, some notes of liquorice and ash. Rounded roasted ending, mid-sweet. Good drinking. Bottle shared with Holmen1 at Bjørnøy 07.05.22. Ebony. Brown head and lacing. Decent aroma and taste of coffee, roasted barley and a hint of herbs and dark chocolate. Thin mouthfeel.

0,5 flaske fra Fristerens lett bortgjemte adventsavdeling, delt med Ovesen hjemme hos meg: brunsvart med fint skum som varer helt ned. Slank maltkropp med mørkrøstet malt, (tynn) kaffe, noe urteaktig og ikke så mye mer.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Nearly black colour, huge and lasting beige head. Dry-ish aroma of coffee and dark malts, a hint of dark chocolate. Fizzy mouthfeel, overcarbonated. Dry flavour with the same elements as the aroma, moderate bitterness, lacks fruitiness.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Chestnut colour, moderate and creamy off-white head, some yeast or protein floaties in the end. Aroma of brown malts, caramel, brown bread, stewed prunes. The flavour is not too sweet, and has the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops. Nice to drink.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy golden to orange colour, large white head. Aroma of citric hops, hints of tropical fruits and pine. Citric hops in the flavour too, a moderate grapefruity and piney bitterness in the finish.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy orange colour, large white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, toffee, orange marmalade, stewed plums and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is somewhat fizzy and citric. Decent and well balanced flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, but the earthy hops are more distinct now, with a reasonably bitter finish.
