Notater fra en hyggelig rb-kveld på Våland: vakker kastanjebrun med fint skum som varer. Ristede nøtter, nystekt brød og lys chokolade i aroma. Smaken likeens, pluss litt bærsyre. En smule overkarbonert (bb 10/22) men ellers en utmerket brown ale i butikkstyrke, så jeg håper denne dukker opp i ny utgave. 0,5 flasken ble delt med trekkspilleren og var naturligvis fra Fristeriets julegavedisk.

Dark copper white head. Aroma of hazelnut, burnt sugar and malt. Taste is hazelnut, citrus, mandarin. Past is due date, it is slightly over- carbonated with a hint of sour.

ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beigge head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, dark malt, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, caramel, malty, chocolate malt touch. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20221112]

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate and coffee, a hint of liquorice and earthy hops. Fairly light bodied. Medium dry flavour with the same elements as the aroma.

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bod�. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of nuts, coffee, rye bread, raisins and oat crackers. Flavour of nuts, coffee, rye bread and raisins. Has a slick and light mouth feel, light body and a soft bitterness. Malty and nice.

50 cl bottle @ Oulu, BBE 21.12.2022 Aroma has nuts, malt and toffee. Flavour has nuts, toffee, malt and caramel. Hoppy finish with mint. An alt on the sweet and malty side - feels like some english ales.
