500ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsø. Misty golden body, chalk white lacing-head. Moderate smell of dusty hops and pale malts. Flavoured with ripe fruits and bread-like malts. Rounded malt-fruity ending. Fair enough. (Session with Snegurochka, janeriks, TheCellarer and Finn, Tromsø 02.08.2019).

Shared 500 ml bottle. ABV is 9%. Nice aroma of roast malts, distinct notes of liquorice, hint of chocolate. The flavour is very roasty, again with distinct notes of liquorice. Not too sweet. Very good beer.

Overbevisende.

50cl bottle from Coop Extra, Tromsø. Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a fairly decent, off-white to beige head. Malty and slightly caramelly aroma with dark fruits, hints of chocolate, coffee and nuts. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a balanced bitterness. Easy to drink, well balanced and quite enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Klauva Altbier on 16 May 2019 at 16:42 - Score: 7

500 ml bottle, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Dark brown colour, large beige head. Distinct malty aroma, notes of caramel and toasted brown bread with syrup, also hints of dark berries. Malty flavour with toasted brown bread again, but not very sweet. A moderate but nice fruitiness makes the beer very drinkable. Decent bittering hops in the finish.
