Opaque black color with a frothy tan head. Nice lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. A bit weak mouth feeling. Also a bit high carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Coffee, herbs and some roast.

Fra flaske på Humle & Bier, et Ølverksted - i Tromsø 28 Mai 16. Svart. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Prikklacing. God, fyldig aroma. Sjokolade & lakris. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Topp fylde og balanse. Blir litt tørr etter hvert - men alkoholen blir ikke framtredene. Toppøl!

Served from a bottle at Humle & Bier. Bubbly, espresso head leaving fair lacing on the glass. Jet black body. Rich aroma of dark chocolate, semi dry. Roasted dark chocolate flavours, slightly ashy. Long.lived mid-sweet chocolate finish. Warming, still rather hidden alcohol. Quite easy to drink. Lovely (Verkstedet, Kulturhuset i Tromsø 28.05.2016).

Served from a bottle at Humle & Bier. Stable filmy layer to a clear golden body. Fragile lacing. Moderate aroma of mid-sweet oranges. Soft fruity taste of peach, apricot and orange. Rounded bittersweet tail with alcohol warmth. Rather easy to drink. Pleasant without being great (Verkstedet, Kulturhuset i Tromsø 28.05.2016).

Poured from at bottle at Humle & Bier. A rustic tint to a black body. Filmy layer, fair lacing. Mild chocolate nose, slightly roasted. Chocolate, earth and caramel to the flavour character followed by a roasted finish. Rounded mouth feel. Surprisingly easy to drink. Nice (Verkstedet, Kulturhuset i Tromsø 28.05.2016).

Served from a bottle at Humle & Bier. A filmy layer leaving spotty lacing behind. Black with a rustic shade. Smell of dark roasted malts, hints of dark dough and liquorice. Earthy, dark malty flavours, hints of liquorice, ash and herbal hops. Smooth ending of slightly roasted malt bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice and tasty (Verkstedet, Tromsø Kulturhus 28.05.2016).

Nothing wrong with this, just a bit to mild in every way. Plain and easy drinkable.

Flaske 500ml fra Kjeller 5. Drukket på Bergstua 21 Mai 16. Ultramørkebrun. Middels høyt lett farget skum. Bra sjokoladearoma. Smaken melkesjokolade & litt lakris etter hvert. Svakt syrlig ettersmak.
