On tap. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a creamy white head. The nose has quite some diacetyl and a perfumy whiff from the hops. Medium body, sweet maltiness, an odd bonbonish note and a dry bitterness. The aromatic qualities of the Cascade don’t really shine here. 110512

On tap. Pours a dark brown with a slight haze and a small beige head. Nose has some yeast but also a little yeasty phenols. Medium body, roast and chocolate, nuts and again some phenols. No real bitterness. Pretty blah. 110512

On tap. Murky Pours a murky dark brown with no head. Heavy raspberry aroma with some booze. Rich body, lowish carbonation, slightly tart with massive raspberries and a whiff of phenols. Warming alcohol finish but never boozy. Very enjoyable. 110512
