Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Clear, amber colour with a dense, off-white head. Fruity aroma with caramel malts, spices, fruits and light citrus. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture. Finishes dry with bread, fruits and a lightly toasted note. Neat.

Bottle at the "Colin and the Vikings tasting, Goteborg". Poured a clear light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light malt citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a light hop fruit bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Toasted malty and caramelish. Bitter, toasted and slight herbal. Bitter and toasted malty finish.

Bottle from Archer Beer Stop, Sheffield. Amber, with a bubbly, broken, white head. Fruit salad juiciness. Nicely balanced malt. A juicy, light bitterness on the palate. Soft carbonation. Really liked this. Surprised at the relatively low, previous ratings.

Bottle at home, from ABM, 09/03/14. Clear copper amber with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is orchard fruits, toffee, malty notes, light smoke, light metallic notes. Taste comprises orchard fruit, light bread, touch of caramel, hint of spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying bitter close. Solid bitter.

Aroma - Rich dark malts, some soy, dark fruits, slight bovril
Taste as aroma, dark malts, soy, mellow roast, some dark fruits, hint of liquorice, no booze
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body - bit thin for abv, smooth. Finish is smooth, oily, dark malts, quite rapid
Overall - Easy for abv, taste got a bit thinner with the drinking then seemed to pick up again toward end of bottle
