Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.

The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Old rating from 27-11-15 - 330ml bottle, pours a dark brown colour with a beige head. Aromas of smoked malt, nuts & caramel. Tastes is very much on the smoked side with again malt, nuts & caramel present along with bacon & some slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall I really liked this and will look out for there other offerings.

(Can) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with foamy off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of lime, white bread, herbs and washing-up liquid. Fruity, slightly tart taste with citrus, lime, herbs, white bread and a low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Citrussy and refreshing. Quite enjoyable.

[44cl can from Tesco.] A pale lemony colour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; rather watery in the mouth with a lemony taste; then a short burst of pithy bitterness before a watery finish. Not a great NEIPA.

440ml can. Pours hazy dull lemon gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet papaya and a little vanilla ice cream. Taste has bitter papaya throughout with a perfumed, floral finish.

Deadication beer to actress Jill Ireland, born on this day and married to Charles Bronson until her death. This brew pretty much does what it says on the tin, and it came out of a tin for me. Aroma is indifferent but the light salted caramel notes compliment the marshmallow taste to good effect.
