Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.

The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Can. Nose is citrus, slightly floral, sweet jammy. Taste is mango, papaya, hint of dank leading to lemon and hint of lime. Grainy slightly thin finish. Thick mouthfeel.

Only Ok.

I looked at a couple of Back To The Future posts on my Facebook feed a week or so ago, now every third one seems to be a BTTF related post since - mostly deconstructing the nuances of the films plot timeline. This beer will shortly be back in time for me, but at the present it's a hazy, very easy but excellent body for its strength light fruity pale.

Sweet roasted dark malty with notes of cocoa and light coffee roast, slight ashy charred malts, light to medium body, dash of oat milky vanilla into the mocha infused malty finish. Impressive. Really good AF action here.

33cl Blik, dank Harmen! Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Gebrande mout, pure chocolade, marshmallows, iets kunstmatigs, erg veel koolzuur, vind het niet heel prettig drinken. Lichte body. Niet extreem zoet gelukkig. OK-ish.

Absolutely no Scottish links in my family, but happy to watch the Scottish National Team play Greece as it's a bit of footy on the telly! Not much wheat character here, perhaps in texture, but the passionfruit is very dominant in both aroma and taste, and a tad on the artificial side.
