Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.
The company opened their Β£2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Cask @ Caley, Edinburgh 221212
Golden, clear, dense white head
Aroma - hoppy citrus zest and a hint of sponge cake mix Taste - mellow citrus hops, nice zest, hint of cake mix, well balanced, good flavour, soft sweet pale malts in the background but the hops are dominant. It has a good flavour even though itβs quite simple
Palate - medium body, soft and oily, good mouthfeel. Not too bitter or sweet, good balance. Finish as main flavout.
Overall - This was a well made decent golden ale on cask.

Black, dense frothy creamy tan head, good lacing
Aroma - soft roasted malts, very light smoke
Taste of roasted malts, creamy dark malts, very soft smoke, dark caramel malts, some chocolate, light smoked bacon, some molasses, easy drinking, I like the mellow smoke here
Palate - medium body, creamy texture. Finish bit dry, mellow dark malts, some lingering bitter roast and light smoke
Overall - Not usually a fan of smoked beers but I like this one as the smoke is subtle

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail
No. 3, BBE June 2013 - Pours murky dark brown with a bubbly white head. Aroma of fruity hops, smoked leather, ham and hints of spices. Taste is fruity and hoppy with a lot of leathery notes, hints of smoke and ash. Finish is bitter and smoked with some leather. Quite unique, a bit unbalanced.

33 cl bottle @ lusikka. No.3, BBE 06/2013
Aroma is odd and stale with berries, oaky notes and ash and distant smoky notes. Flavour has berries, ashy notes, some resin and smoky notes. Quite unique stuff.

Keg at Cask Pub & Kitchen. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is pine, resin, orange citrus, tangy marmalade, leaf and spice. The taste is pine, assertive bitterness, varnish, resin, booze, tangerine, orange, marmalade, creaminess and spice with a long warming, bitter finish. A big, boozy bitter beast. A tasty brew indeed.
