Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.
The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Cask at Craft, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a small, white foam head. Lots of toasty malts on the nose, dry orange. Medium sweet, some piney bitterness, toasty malts and sugars, modest grapefruit and tangerine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky and resinous finish, some pine, toasted malts, ripe orange and other citrus. Nice.

Rake. Light haze on this amber beer, little white head. Light palate, semi dry. Very low carbonation. Well balanced, mild malt. Mild piney fruity hops. Very mild minerals. Semi dry finish. A nice beer badly hamstrung by the almost flat palate. Good taste, terrible palate.

Rake. Clear dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, soft and dry. Fine carbonation. Mildly smoky and roasty dark malt. The chocolate is very mild and partially hides even milder red fruits. Soft finish with more mild roast malt. Not bad.

Rake. Almost cloudy amber - brown beer, tidy cream coloured head. Smooth palate, soft with superfine carbonation. Minerally hops, smooth and moderate - grapefruit, fresh orange, marmalade orange and a trace of tropical fruits. Good malt base, mild toffee caramel. Finishes minerally and with mild fresh hop sting and bitterness. Decent!

Rake. Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Mild carbonation. Really nice Nelson Sauvin! Presenting here as grapey with a trace of gooseberry. Very mild bitterness in the smooth dry finish. Nice! Could do with a touch more carbonation but really good hop flavour for it’s modest abv.

Rake. Last of the keg. Clear dark amber beer, good pale tan head. Light palate, dry and semi soft. Tangy mild dark malts. A fair bit of dry oak, not that sweet. Very subtle smoke. Finishes smooth and dry and mildly bitter. Interesting beer, if a bit dry.
