Cask at The Courtfield on Earl’s Court Road. Pours quite ruddy with a white head. Aroma is a bit spicy. Med body. Flavor suggests rye spice with some floral/citrus. Finishing a little malty and decently bitter. Tasty.

33cl bottle, batch 034, BBE 05/13. Poured hazy amber with a thick white head. Floral, citrusy aroma, with some rubber as well. Flavor has citrusfruits, quite intense really, hints of sweet caramel and malt. Finish is short and bitter. Light body. Decent.

Aroma: Boiled vegetables, vine tomato and straw.
Appearance: Hazy golden body with a pillowy white head. Lively carbonation. Nice lacing.
Taste: Grassy and vinous. Bitter finish.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture, Average carbonation.
Overall: A decent American Pale Ale, but I’m not sure if I like the Nelson Sauvin hop.

Bottle 0.33l at home (via alesbymail). Colour is orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, grape, caramel, bitterness and hops. Quite massive, hard to decide if I like this or not.

Bottle from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon Tuesday 19th February 2013 consumed at home Tuesday 26th Feb 2013 Pours light amber with a veiled cloud of haze sitting within, head is white and slim. This tastes marvellous, softened by the oak it has a light vanilla edge, the citrussyness of the nose is also blunted a little by this as well. Taste is great, wonderfully citrussy but the oak ageing is marvellous, still it makes me do the ’snake flicky out tongue thing’ with a late double clack, very lemony, very good. In fact I have to say better than the very decent Buxton Wyoming. Dry towards the end, lovely lovely beer. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

Cask at Craft Clerkenwell - 22/02/13. Clear golden with a medium sized bubbly white head that retains well. Nose is hops, citrus, orange, a little cheese, touch of pine. Taste comprises citrus, orange pith, grass, light sugars, hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation lending towards some bitterness in a dryish finish. A more than decent number but not Tiny Rebels best!

Bottle from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon Tuesday 19th February 2013 consumed Thursday 20th Feb 2013 Pours warm gold with white head, little bit hazy maybe. The nose is a little maltier than I expected but backed up with a good citrussy hit. Taste is fruity loads of citrus but with a good solid maltiness, really good backbone to this beer, good balance. Hoppy and bitter but not too much and leading all the way to a nice steady dry finish. Good beer! A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle at home in London. Pours mostly clear, dark gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Ripe citrus on the nose, some wood, drying pine, lightly toasted bread. Light to medium sweet flavor, somewhat dry, with semi-sticky pine, some dry orange and grapefruit, sun-kissed grass, background bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous finish with dry pine, faint earth, a bit of gritty yeast, toasted grass and light bread, some rindy citrus. A very pleasant APA, but it needs a bit more cohesiveness to take it to another level.
