Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.

The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

"I got the hots for you - Boop boop b boop bep b bep ah ah". Hazy growing juiciness. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, feels a little more strength-driven in taste but a developing citrus gets to almost spicy levels of citric fruitiness in its aftertaste.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel, sugary. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, herbal, fake sugar, light vanilla palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A real sugar bomb mess. Not entirely impressed.

Deadication beer to a sporting 'V' - racing driver Bill Vukovich, who won the Indianapolis 500 twice and is the only person to have led it in most laps for three consecutive years. He died during the 1955 edition on this day. Raspberry, a little bit of cherry, sweet but sour and very balanced in this respect. Pretty tasty too. Plenty of aroma.
