Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.

The company opened their ÂŁ2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Can. This is an IIPA how? Don't know! Near clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Nose is caramel and a little pine. Smooth light pale malts utterly butterfly caramel, cream and toffee. Vanilla provides well, vanilla! Also intersects to provide that biscuity element. Light finish. Nice pasty brew. I would call this a pastry white stout. This beer has nothing in common with a dipa!

Can next door, picked up from TR online, 06/07/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is orange zest, grapefruit, grass, melon, papaya.
Taste comprises mandarin, pine needle, grapefruit, grass, orange pith.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness.
Tidy IPA ... get past the gimmicky beers and TR can still deliver a well rounded straight up hoppy number.

Can from Morrisons, I think. Pours murky yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of pineapple and citrus. Taste is more of the same. Slightly thin on the finish.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle poured at home into a tulip glass. It's a hazy amber colour with a white head. Aromas of fruity hops. Tastes of citrus with a resiny hopped medium to strong bitter finish. You can taste the high ABV. Very good.
