Description
We are seven actual brothers of the McAvoy family from Salford who love beer (we also have four sisters who love gin). It was our Dad who first got us into beer – he used to home brew when we were kids and so for us, there’s a lovely nostalgia in everything about beer. We brew our beer in Salford, where we also have our Tap Room – you can come over and visit any time!

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours a deep brown with medium off-white cream head. Aroma is milky, chocolatey. Overall character focuses on these elements, some light vanilla sweet hints perhaps, soft chocolate presence, a touch grainy. Decent.

On tap at The Colmore, pours a deep dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma brings out medium toasted malt and dry cocoa. Flavour is fairly sweet, with cocoa, lactose, and medium toasted malt. Sweet and adjunct-ridden. Not bad.

Can from trade with dantomlinson, many thanks. Hazy orange color with thick white head. Moderate aroma of citrus hops, zesty, piney. Taste, solid malty base followed by oranges, hoppy taste with zest, pines. For me no evidence of rice krispies, anyway this is delicate beer. I liked it very much.

Keg @ Seven Brothers Beer House, Manchester. Black with the salted caramel dominant and smoothish, certainly subduing its roasted malts and not feeling its strength. Is sweet, not sticky.

330ml can. Poured a hazy golden colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is big melon, wheaty, light citrus. The flavour is light sweet, with a light, crisp, fresh, water melon, cucumber, mineral palate. Light to medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Light and refreshing. Perfect for a hot day. Will appeal to a wide audience.
