Today is a the Christian Feast Day of the Seven Brothers, so this beer seems quite apt. Golden with a tropical fruity nose including orange fruit. Its floral influence is more evident in taste and aftertaste, the latter including a dryness, although a subdued fruitiness is perhaps still most obvious.

Kirsty McColl's biggest solo hit 'A New England ' was extended by its writer Billy Bragg especially for her as it was deemed too short in its original length. There's only keg pours in this venue but this 'New England' is a hazy tropical fruit one with pine, and a crisp one from its tap. Slightly over-carbonated making it somewhat bland.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is sugary honeycomb. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, sugary saccharine, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, honeycomb, light liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A real sugar bomb that wasn’t entirely pleasant.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale straw coloured pour with a billowing white head; fruity yeasty aroma; light berry taste with a bready body; and a drying finish. Odd.

330ml can. Semi-hazed gold with small white head, modest retention. Aroma of citrus, grains, hint of berries; pleasant if non-descript. Taste has a slight soft citrus and stone fruit with some earthiness but there is a cardboard stale note to the malts. Light bodied and crisp. Below average fair.

Il corpo è. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, pane, biscotto, cereali, frutta secca, luppolo e agrumi.

La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, pane, cereali, frutta secca, erbaceo, agrumi, pompelmo rosa, arancia e mandarino.
