The Melwood Beer Company opened its doors in March 2013 by husband and wife duo John & Julie Marsden. We are having one, huge adventure!
We are based in the heart of Knowsley Park in the old Kennels that once housed Lord Derby’s gundogs.

[ As Melwood Kaleidoscope Eyes ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, cookie - biscuit malt, sweet malt, light alcolhol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, cookie - biscuit malt, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141011]

Cask @ The Excelsior, Liverpool. Very light and easy drinking with a mild hop character, although not the best nose it has to be said. A touch dry in its taste with some malt in here.
