Description
Our farm was established in 1855 in the townland of Ardress. Our cider takes its name from our Cider Maker, Greg Mac Neice’s grandmother Annie Mac Ivor. Annie, her husband Matt Mac Neice and their nine children had a passion for apple growing. Her son Sam and her grandson Greg continue that tradition, farming over 100 acres of prime Armagh orchard, packing and processing the apples grown and now making great craft cider too!

500 ml bottle, from KWM Wines & Spirits. ABV is 5.6%. Very pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a small white head. Fairly fresh aroma of various apple varieties, a hint of sulphites. The flavour is much sweeter than expected from a "dry" cider, notes of dessert apples, short finish.

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from KWM, Kilkeel and drunk at home. Light colour, almost straw, clear with some visible carbonation but no discernible head. Fairly appley aroma but not particularly strong, just a light whiff of fruit. Sweet taste, almost too sweet without a lot of bite. Medium carbonation. It is pretty unremarkable but it's refreshing enough.

Bottle from Fairleys or was it KWM? One of those! Appearance - amber to orange with an edge of pink. A foamy head initially which then disappears. Nose - plum and apple for sure, a bit jammy and there's a bold ginger note. Taste - plum, apple and ginger again. Palate - light to medium bodied, a little sweet. Steady carbonation refreshes somewhat. Overall - I like this. But maybe that's because I like plum in beers and ciders.
