Description
Larkins uses traditional beer brewing methods to make our fantastic beers from scratch on site. Head brewer Chris Taylor expertly brews 2-3 batches a week to keep supplies flowing to the 40-50 or so pubs and restaurants as well as local and private events.

Tapped (@The Flower Pot, Maidstone, Kent, U.K.): Deep golden to light amber coloured, a bit unclear, creamy and lacy off-white head, slightly caramelly, but mainly fruity nose with a bready touch; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; slightly lingering caramelly-bitter finish with an illusion of dried fruits. Cask at the GBBF. Golden with a small white head. Aroma of fruit and grain, with a faint phenolic note. Nice malty flavour with some fresh cereal, some herbal hops and a mild bitter finish

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, sour malt, apples. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, foppy and mild earthy notes. Flavour is caramel malts, fruits, wood, toffee and mild nutty notes.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Bread, grain and fruit. Medium bodied. Ends dry.

Cask gravity at Gbbf 2011. Its a dty session bitter with some ok hops. Its got good condition and some fruity citrus hops that are pleasant. Good beer. Good bitterness. Likeable

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask@GBBF2009. Amber colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is wood, herbs and some caramel malts. Flavour is same along with some hayish and grassy ntoes.

Cask@GBBF 2009 as "Traditional Ale". Deep amber color, small off-white head, some lace. Oak-woody aroma. Light caramel and grassy hops. A bit watery.
