Cask at GBBF08. Almost clear copper colour. Nicely malty and nutty flavour, seems also to have enough alcohol to give it at least some mouthfeel. Hint of spicy hops.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 08. Slight haze on deep chestnut and lasting dark beige head. Named after the son or dog of the brewer or something I think. Fruity best bitter, lovely brambly fruit. Good milk chocolate. Hedgerow fruit, earthy hop. Just a tad of chlorine. Cracking condition and lovely toasty malts.

Cask handpull at The Beacon, Tunbridge Wells. I’ve had this a couple of times now and am still surprised by it. Copper colour with lasting off white head. The amount of flavour in this belies the 3.4% ABV. The tangy citrus hop on the end is excellent. Could drink pints of the stuff. Easy drinking session bitter but with intense hops that aren’t let down by the malt base.

Cask gravity at Crabble Corn Mill BF 2006. Amber colour, no head. Quite a refreshing bitter. Good hop which makes it quite sharply bitter especially on the finish. Some floralness.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, and besides being sweet hoppy the flavor also has notes of caramel, and a dry end.
