Cask at The Rock, Chiddingfold. Finally tracked down this Protz 300 tick. Pretty indistinct aroma - dark chocolate, herbal. Black with some cola tints in the light. Thin but creamy off-white head. Light bitter, with a sugary chocolate sweetness. Returns to a low key bitterness into the finish. Liqourice and nuts. Medium bodied. Relatively slick but still feels watery. Flsat carb. Long finish. I guess it's more interesting than some of thoe bland British porters I come across but not as comolet a porter as I expected. Aftertaste ain't great.

Draught at the Gallipot Inn. Slightly citrusy but not overly coming through in the taste. Classic cask ale task yet gentle on the palate. Very light / watery. Could go the distance for a good session (but not sure you’d want to..)

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 4 - London. Pours clear gold with a rich, frothy white head. A little farty on the nose, with plenty of pale bread, hay and light citrus. Light sweet flavor with bready pale malts, white bread, biscuits, faint bitter straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; pretty good condition. Finishes fairly sweet, with more bready pale mats, vague citrus, lemon, minimal hop character. Fine.
