Four Quarters embodies the cycle of life that each ingredient makes on its way to your glass. A seed is carefully planted and nurtured, growing with the energy of the sun, Earth, wind, and rain. Its fruits are harvested, later the seeds, and the cycle of life starts again. Our logo, the moon phases, encapsulates this cycle, present in every living thing. When we create, we are celebrating the Earth and everything that grows within.
It is our hope, that by thoughtfully crafting each and every beer with this cycle in mind, we can pass to our drinker, not just a glass of delicious brew, but our passion, our love, and our thankfulness, for all things in our natural world. If you’re ever in Vermont, we’d love to have you come visit our taproom.
We also distribute our beer throughout Vermont, Maine, and eastern Massachusetts.

Draught at Ginger Man, 2/6/18.
Clear, dark mahogany. Deep, dark-auburn highlights. Light tan head fades slowly to cover.
Plain, straightforward coffee-like roast up front with chocolate-caramel-like malts filling in the gaps. Clean, not intensely malty or fudgey, without any heavy roast or acid either. Kind of boring, but very competent and the alcohol is well-concealed.
In the mouth there's a distinct salted toffee chocolate character that is highly enjoyable. On the sweeter side, though certainly not sugary/underfermented. Lots of toffee, salt and plum with light carbonation throughout. Good attenuation but very malty. Cherry vanilla notes linger. As it warms it dries out a bit with pepper and licorice notes emerging. Definitely accomplishes its purpose as a baltic porter, though on the sweeter and stronger side to my tastes. Gains a bit of acidity over time, but could use more.

Pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2018. Poured a pale straw color, slightly cloudy. Head was small and fizzy. Flavor was floral, with a touch of grain. Light earthy notes, light tartness. Lemon, fruit, with a little bit of orange. Pretty tasty.

Pours hazy gold into a tumbler. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Lemon cake aromas. Medium bodied with sweet pepper and pineapple front to back. Not much heat, but a nice jalapeno flavor.

16 oz. can in a trade with ClarkVV, much thanks. The color is a hazy golden hue appearance. Aroma is exactly as the name implies. Straight up pickle juice. The flavor thankfully is much, much better than pickle juice. Mild cucumber and melon through the sip. Shows a very mild dill in the finish. Maybe a hint of salt with a shade of black pepper.
I have to say I was very impressed with my last trip to this brewery. The beers have gotten drastically better since I first visited a few years back. The beers are very creative, tasty, and fun. This particular beer was surprisingly refreshing.

5 oz. draft at the source. Typical appearance. The flavor is bold and bitter just like the aroma would lead you to believe. Floral notes, tropical fruits upfront with a good grain bill. Grapefruit rind, subtle grass. The finish has a mild bitterness that gives a mild juice. But the bitterness is here in full affect. Nicely hoppy and snappy.
