Bottle, 4.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, little bread and hop. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, little bread, medium sweet, little liquorice and medium bitter.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting, my house. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, licorice, coffee and hops. Dry bitter finish.

Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Trondhjem. Drukket hos Kjersti’s 23 Jul 15. Svart. Middels høyt, litt farget skum. Pent kniplingsskum. God aroma av sjokolade. Mild på smak. Vanilje & sjokolade. Godt butikkstyrke-øl. Litt bunnfall igjen på flaska.

50cl bottle from Gulating ølutsalg, Trondheim. Pours deep golden with modest, white head. Wheaty and fruity aroma with notes of ripe bananas, some earthy notes, light caramel and hints of spices. Medium sweet with fruity flavours and a rather mild bitterness. Feel somewhat messy, but still pretty drinkable and fairly refreshing. Gusher alert, beer all over the place...! Huge fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is weeds, boiled vegetables, paper, cardboard, harsh yeast, old potato cellar, minerals, bark. Taste is dry and medical harsh, cardboard, weeds, old potato cellar, harsh yeast, paper, boiled vegetables, dried grain, minerals. Little bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Ohh what a debut...!

Etter å ha sett Gunnar sin rating, samt at jeg ikke var noen stor fan av de andre to jeg hadde smakt herfra, så må jeg innrømme at dette var langt bedre enn forventet. Litt uklar brun i fargen med et fint off white skum. Ok lacing. Ok fylde (veldig bra til å være 4,1%) og en ok karbonaring. Litt tam bitterhet, så den var ikke så veldig frisk. Litt gjærsmak sånn med en gang, men det ga seg. Brød, karamell, litt jord faktisk og en anelse fruktighet. Helt grei. Men kjøper nok ikke den en gang til dessverre.
