0,5 flaske delt med Gunnar og Bryne på Den store sommersmakingen juli-18: lett uklar gylden med flott skum som varer. Maltdrevet aroma og smak med fine florale toner, lynghonning og gress, og en bitterappelsin eller to i tillegg.

Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Gylden. Høyt luftig skum som daler raskt. Lett kornaroma. Smaken korn & lett krydder. Uklar siste kvelling. Mye bunnfall. Utmerket matøl.

500ml bottle, batch 016, 4.3 % abv, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg Tromsø. Pours a noisy, rocky white head. Next to clear golden body. Clingy lacing. Aroma of pale malts and ripe banana. Flavoured with banana sweetness joined by wheat and distant citric notes. Vague bittersweet endnotes. Accepted (Tromsø 12.03.2017).

500ml bottle, batch 015, 4.5 % abv, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg Tromsø . Foamy, dense, beige head. Next to clear dark red-brown body. Patchy lacing down the glass. Restrained smell of forest and brown malts. Earthy, brown malty flavours added by a spicy touch. Vague dark fruity impact to the finish. Soft in the mouth. More than just satisfying (Tromsø 28.10.2016).

500ml bottle, batch 017, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg Tromsø. Creamy, bubbly, fawn coloured head leaving spotty lacing behind. Black in the glass. Brown malty nose, lightly roasted. Taste of roasted grainy malts, hints of liquorice and chocolate. Roasted malt bitter ending. Pleasing to a certain degree (Shared with Finn Arvid at his place, Tromsø 18.10.2016).

Flaske (batch 016) fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: champagnesmellen varsler om overkarbonering, som bekreftes av det høye, insisterende skummet. Klar, mørk kobbergylden farge. Aroma og smak av overmodne bær, gjær, malt. Svært moderat bitterhet i den korte ettersmaken. ABV er iflg etiketten 4,3 og med 1.9.17 som best før-dato. Skulle gjerne visst mer om maltprofilen - er der et snev av røykmalt eller Størdalsmalt i denne?

Bottle 500ml. [ As Moe Gård Vargnatt ].ABV: 5.4%. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, light coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, roasted, coffee, light burnt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151121]
