Can. Fudgy chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt, cookie dough and vanilla. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has very little retention and no lacing. Starts with rich fudgy chocolate and roasted malt flavors as well as having a medium body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with cookie dough and vanilla flavors. Decent, but very sweet.

Can. Brewed on August 30, 2024. Nearly opaque black/brown pour with a medium sized tan head that quickly fizzes away. The aroma is strong with toasted banana, vanilla and some whiskey barrel. The taste has bananas in the forefront, followed by baking chocolate, vanilla and whiskey barrel. Bitterness is minimal. The palate is oily and coats the mouth well. Finishes long and semisweet with banana lingering on forever. Overall: You want something different? I've got your fucking different--right here.

Can, 2024 vintage. Whiskey aroma with notes of pomegranate, white wine, vanilla and oak. Pours cloudy amber colored with a thin off white head that has good retention and excellent lacing. Starts with whiskey, white wine and oak flavors as well as having a lively mouthfeel. Finishes bone dry and quite sour with pomegranate and vanilla flavors. Good, but it’s quite sour and hard to drink a whole can.

Aroma is strong michelada with notes of pickles, tomato juice, lemon, lime, Worcestershire possibly. Taste is sour, salty, spicy, umami, with flavors of top tier michelada. Delicious stuff!

That is the deal with Martin House, really good graphics on the can and the beer inside, well, it has to be tried. 16 oz can from the local supermarket, HEB, I lift the tab and pour inside of my Buffalo Bayou tulip glass. A mostly clear lemon yellow liquid with a steady ring of wholly white, very fine bubbles. I smell citrus and then, really nothing. The drink is a significant step forward. Lemon certainly, maybe some would call it to be similar to lemonade, a slight sweetness, a small bitterness, perhaps some orange rind. Tart may be the operative word but it is not too much. For 10% abv, I do not observe it at the front end, ask me later. Not bad in the style, in other words it is drinkable.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a fair, dense, tan head. The nose is pineapple rum, sugar cane, intense toasted coconut, almond, and mild coffee. Sweet and remarkably juicy, with a mellow, pithy bitterness. Heavy body, sugary and slick. Beautifully tropical.
