Poured up on tap at Kings where it exhibits a deep dark body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up slick reduced malts and sugars, chocolate and a lactose tanginess. The taste delivers smooth rich sweet malts and velvety dark chocolate. Wow. Rich deep with a fair enough booze kick to help out the experience. Solid.

On tap at Phoenix Ale Brewery. Golden with a small white head. On the sweey side with malt, vegetables and some chili. Thin and boring.

On tap at the brewery. Almost black with a small tan head. Quite soft with chocolate, dark malt, some notes of brett and bread. The body was on the light side.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, light grain and some malt. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A bit thin.
