Can at Saratoga Springs brewery. Opaque dark brown with thin cap of head, poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is fairly subtle roasted malt, dark chocolate. Taste is strong roasted malt, oats, over late chocolate. Smooth, frothy texture, medium body, average to lively carbonation, roasted bitter finish. Didn’t get coffee. Neither terribly strong nor complex. Nothing bad about it though.

6 oz. pour on draft as part of a flight at the brewery, Saratoga Springs. Clear amber, nice sparkle and head, good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is biscuit and mild caramel. Taste is strong bread with hint of fruit, light caramel. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Not a standout Scottish Ale. OK.

6 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery in Saratoga Springs. Pale, hazy yellow with tons of sparkle, good head, excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is cracker, yeast, bittering hops. Taste is appropriate for style but a bit less dry than typical and flavor is on the subtle side. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste with lingering bread.

6 oz. pour on tap at the brewery in Saratoga Springs. Clear, honey brown with tons of sparkle, nice head with excellent retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is subtle notes of bread crust and caramel. Taste is caramel and toasted malt. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Well made but fairly subtle.

Aroma is pine, malt, sweet grapefruit. Taste is pine, grapefruit, malts. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp, dry finish. Traditional IPA/West Coast IPA.

Aroma is strong pineapple with hint of anise. Taste is pineapple rind, hint of anise. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation, crisp finish with mild lingering bitterness.

Taste mostly orange creamsicle. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not cloyingly sweet. Quite yummy.
