(bottle) hazy amber colour with a small tan head; aroma of cider; weird flavour - almost like it was not fermented properly; could be a bad bottle, I dont think it was sealed properly

Hazy amber color. Initially it has a soapy smell, then it shows a load of vegetables. Thin body, mild caramel flavor, some dish soap, celery.
Not a good one. It wasn’t special when fresh, got worse with the years.

Dark amber color, clean, with large compact head. Some malt and caramel aroma, with a perfumy and buttery impression. Correct body strength, lean mouthfeel; simple malt flavor with just light nutty feeling; ordinary bitterness; modest sweetness.
Alcoholic, but not a barley wine; still, it’s clean and drinkable

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Dark brown color; medium sized head, not very persistent. The smoke aroma is deep, persistent, with the campfire and smoked ham character of the Aecht Schlenkerla Märzen from which this one clearly takes inspiration; there is also some wood oven bread. The mouthfeel is dry; dark caramel flavor, with some darker, burnt sugar; strong smoke presence, smoked ham, light ashes; correct bitterness. The final is a bit too dry and ashy.
Remarkably close to the original.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, copper colour with minimal tan head. Full smokey aroma and flavour of bacon and hickory. Medium body. A well done smoked beer.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark mahogany with moderate head of big bubbles. Aromas of campfire and heavily smoked bacon. On no... Flavors of burnt plastic and hickory ash. Kinda thought this would be the result. An experience that can be experience for free by burning garbage.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma of mesquite BBQ notes and liquid smoke. Flavour brings out smoked meat, liquid smoke, and slight sweetness. Quite smoky, but not overburdeningly so. Tastes like you're licking the inside of a BBQ. Decent.

This IPA poured a medium amber colour with a quickly dissipating, bright white head. Scents include pineapple, spruce and grassy hops, sweet malts and little cereal. First sip was smooth with a medium bitterness and lots of hop flavours. Light to medium body with quite a lingering hop flavor on the palate.

66cl Bottle, thanks H&T! Clear copper/amber colour, white head. Aroma of malts, some caramel, light hops. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, some caramel, light bitter fruity hoppy finish, a bit floral. Light-bodied. ’Eh..
