Draught. Stlightly hazy orange body with a minimal head. Aromas are heavy of pine resin and grapefruit peels. Mouthfeel and flavor come off as thin, especially when you take the massive hops dose into account. I liked it enough, but it needs a little more body up front to balance out. At least that’s my opinion. I confess I gave it an extra point on appearance just for the name... couldn’t resist.

Draught. Brown body with a slightly reddish hue. Smells of sweet caramel malts and tastes about the same. Minimal head. Flavor is about what you would expect. Kinda sweet malt presence with a bitter finish. Come to think of it, this is almost more like an ESB than an amber... hmm... Anyhow, mouthfeel is a little silky and creamy.

Draught. Color is a nice golden orange, although head is fairly small. Aromas are grapefruity with some pine. Best of the bunch from the sampler that I had, but like most, it could deal with a little more of a malt presence as it comes off fairly thin.

Beatiful raspberry aroma and the appearance is an attractive pink cloud. Taste is not as sweet as the aroma but there are definatly raspberries in there. This is way above average for a fruit beer. Slight earthy bitterness of ale in the background. Almost but not quite tart. Medium mild carbonation. Finsih is like so many other fruit beers. Comes across like a flavored mild ale.

Typical beer aroma with just a hint of coffee. Rootbeer color with a creamy off white head. The taste of this is very interesting and pleasing. Coffee flavors abound, but it is not a big bitter black coffee falvor. The best of the coffee without the oppressiveness. It comes across like a very mild sweet stout but it does not leave a watered down impression. Great mild flavor, certainly not overpowering with it’s coffee flavors. Good creamy carbonation. Well mannerred and friendly, of course there is no alky taste at all. Very mild coffee bitterness builds a little on the back of the throat during the finish. Very nice! I was happy to try this mild alky ’beer’

Creamy head with a slight staw aroma. Color of darker cream soda or lighter root beer. Initial palate is pretty flat. Earthy flavors with some hints of fruit or flowery taste. Finish is mild building bitterness, but justbarely.

Creamy black pour with a nice off white head. Not bad looking at all, very attractive. Has a mild roasty aroma. Initial flavor is sweet then that fades to a medium back of throat bitterness. Medium carbonation. Bitter coffee and bitter dark chocolate bite builds on the sides of the tongue with each sip. Bitterness continues to overtake the flavors as the session continues. Overall, a good example of a dark beer. A little too much bitterness for my girlie taste buds. Borders on the baltic porter style. Finish is roasty and almost biting, this lasts for a while after the last sip.

Cloudy swirling unfiltered light brown pour. Aroma is that of a stronger wheat and it has just a little spice in it. Mild carbonation on the palate. Banana oranges and some spice in the flavor, not overdone on the spices which makes this enjoyable. Hides the alky content well for 6%. There is a slight alky bite that builds as you drink but it is not in your face. Overall, a well behaved and enjoyable weizenbock, like-able and friendly.

Just a slight perfume for an aroma. Brownish ginger ale color with some orange in there. Good creamy carbonation. Pretty hoppy, I would have thought this was an APA and it almost borders on mild IPA. Floral hops are present in the taste. Nice thin lacing. Finish has a medium length hop bitterness, somewhat like I just got done chewing some grapefruit rinds. However, it is tolerable.

Tremendous pour, reminds me of used Harley shovelhead oil. Black and more black opaque. Chocolate mousse head that fades slowly. Good stoutish aroma attracts me to this brew. Makes my mouth water. Has a caution for lactose intolerant drinkers! Good example of a sweet milk stout. Not too bitter. Decent carbonation that is welcomed in this style. Lovely, friendly and easy. Finish is like any sweet stout, just a little of the back throat charcoaled bitterness but not so much that it becomes offensive. Youi know that satisfying taste of meat that was cooked just a little too long on the grill. Would like to sample this again. Just love those no oppressive sweet stouts. Fine examples of dark beer.
