Started on Ratebeer in 2002. Never a huge ticker but have become more interested in trying smaller sample sizes of more beers lately. Current tasting group meets bi-monthly: tfontana, Airforcehops (CLW) and Chalumeaux, occasionally with AdamChandler and Jow. If you're ever in the MA/NH area, reach out! *Disclaimer* I rate N/A beers on a N/A beer scale. Not a scale vs non-N/A beers. So an 8.5 rating of an N/A beer does not mean I think it is equivalent to an 8.5 real beer.

Undated can drunk 5/26/25.
Moderately hazy with bright bronze and sunset orange tones. Small, white head.
Juicy with some spicy and woody Amarillo and/or Simcoe notes. Soft lemon and fruity yeast with a hint of pine and biscuity, bready malts. Clean.
Lightly juicy, lightly woody with hints of pine and good spice. Biscuity malts with light white bread and high attenuation. Big, fruity yeast. Very balanced and well-executed stuff. Would love to try more from this brewery.

Can drunk 5/26/24. Forgot to note the date, but from the fridge at Harvest Wine & Spirits Elmwood.
Clear amber-tan. Medium-sized, beige head.
Hint toasty with light caramel and nutty rye. Good base malt contributing bread and gentle honey suggestions. Clean with herbs and pepper from the hop.
Similar flavors with an excellent maltiness and attenuation. Nutty, spicy, with gentle fruitiness and lingering crisp, gently bitter hop. Fresh yeast and nutty malt with a hint of toast.

Canned 3/20, drunk 5/26/25. From Harvest Wine & Spirits Elmwood.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, pale brass-bronze. Small, white head, good retention.
Soft, fruity yeast with citrus and a touch of pine. Wheat-like nuttiness and biscuit with citrus juice lingering.
Assertive but not overdone citrusy bitterness with a touch of pine. Soft and malty texture, very dry, clean, drinkable and with balanced flavor. After two months no doubt the big juiciness has dried up somewhat but this is still very balanced and drinkable.

Draught at Eli Cannon's, 5/25/25.
Dark, clear. Small, light tan head.
Salted caramel, light licorice, light sugar and long acid and vanilla on the finish. No booze. Not as much pure caramel and chocolate as id like, though the adjuncts certainly aren't overdone.
Good acidity, soft and not over roasted. But just strong, even if it's not sharp or boozey. Seems like an adjunct sugar was used as the texture isnt on par with its abv. Salted caramel, mild vanilla, prune and light licorice keep it fairly balanced.

Brewery draught, 5/26/25.
Hazy, pale gold-brass. Small, white head.
Soft and lightly spicy with a round tropical character. Big mango on the end with solid, but not sugary malt. No alcohol noted.
Soft, malty, gently spicy with papaya, mango, pineapple and light citrus. Not overly bitter, but amply so. No sign of the alcohol, and the maltiness comes with zero syrup or excess sweetness. Still a touch safe on the hopping, and though it's not sugary, it's very thick and deeply malty. Needs a bit more hop intensity/complexity.
