Dark copper in color with a frothy, white head. Aroma of toasted hazelnut. Taste is bittersweet, a mix of grassy and toasted bitterness over a nutty, caramel sweetness. Finishes mildly bitter with a gentle roast. Body to the light side of medium, mild carbonation with a delicate feel. Nice!

Dark gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of dankness, honey and garden weed. Taste is mildly sweet with a faintly bitter but quite herbal finish. Lingering taste of sweetened mustard. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, texture a touch watery. Kind of all over the place. Drinkable but not very likeable.

Gold with a foamy head. Dank, cellar aroma with banana on top. Maybe a whiff of clove. Taste is very mildly bitter on a lightish and somewhat watery body. Finishes with a mix of spice, lemon, and water. Drinkable, but feels watered down and empty most of the way.

Dark brown with a frothy head. Lovely, rich dark chocolate aroma with roasted grain undertones. Taste is mildly sweet through the middle with a long, dry, moderate bitter finish and a touch of berry tartness. Medium bodied, faintly watery texture but enough chewiness. Goes down real easy. Good one.

Dark orange with a foaming, white head of modest duration. Aroma of mixed grains and apples. Taste is mildly bitter up front, a little more assertive at the back, but still feels meandering and at times watery, on a body that could use a little more chewiness. Sampled while sitting outside waiting for the ribs to finish. Second mediocre Kellerbier of the night.

Reddish copper with a frothy, white head. Caramel and something fruity, more apple peel than apple. Taste is bitter with both grassy tones and a mineralic feel‘s exacerbated by a prickly carbonation. Body to the light side of medium, faint tartness at the finish. Drinkable. Not growing on me though.

Light brown with a frothy, white head. Smells like shit. Literally. I haven’t had this bad of an aroma in a beer for a very long time. Maybe never. Taste is faintly bitter on a body to the light side of medium. Lingering, pungent odor of .. you guessed it. Tough to get past the gag reflex. And this beer claims it will stay “fresh” until 2028. Drain pour.
