Brown with a fleeting crown. Aroma of caramel with roasted undertones on a mild dankness. Taste is moderate sweet up front with an unusual pungency. Mildly bitter with a crisp finish at the back as the hops takes over. Lingering nutty and brown sugar flavors. Body to the light side of medium, moderate carbonation, faintly watery. Decent.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Grassy and somewhat herbal aroma with hints of dough. Taste is bitter the whole way through with a touch of metal at the finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Simple and drinkable but with an industrial feel.

Lingering spice and soggy white bread. Body to the light side of medium, mild carbonation, watery texture. Drinkable and harmless without being all that enticing.

Copper colored with a frothy, white head. Aroma is dank with hints of stewed peaches and caramel. Taste is mildly caramel sweet up front and finishes with only the faintest of bitterness. Hops? MIA. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, faintly watery texture. Makes an overall listless and uninspired impression.

Murky, pale gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is a mix of grapefruit and oatmeal—interesting but not exactly enticing. The grapefruit astringency is barely noticed under the sweet blanket of lactose. Starts and finishes sweet with a mild, citric twist. Body to the full side of medium, good chewiness, very mild carbonation. Finishes warm and moderately boozy. Interesting.
