Brown with a creamy head. Aroma of candied apple, plums and clove with the expected Belgian yeast undertones. Taste is spicy, faintly tart, and moderate sweet with lingering brown sugar and spice on the tongue. The booze only surges up afterwards as a lingering warmth. Medium bodied, mostly mild carbonation, faintly watery texture at the beginning. Interesting one. Decent take on the style.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Grassy, grainy aroma. Drinking outside in the wind made sniffing difficult. Pleasant, crisp bitterness, lightly herbal and faintly citric. There’s a mild honey & white bread sweetness underneath. Medium bodied, good chewiness. Refreshing. Fresh, hoppy feel despite being near BBD. Good.

Dark copper with a foamy head of modest duration. Aroma promises Schwarzbrot with a good dose of caramel with a faint touch of prunes. Taste is mildly sweet up front, then immediately bitter, both grainy and moderate herbal. Lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, easygoing and quite drinkable. Good.

Hazy off-orange with a frothy, white head. Aroma of orange peel, grains and dough with a noticeable floral twist. Taste is bitter and moderate citric over a fruit candy sweet base. Long, citric bitter finish with a faint alcohol warmth. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, smooth. Goes down real easy. Tasty!
