330 ml can. Pours black with short dark tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate nougat, vanilla, charred oak, soft bourbon, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of rich chocolate syrup, fudge, dry oak, more soft bourbon, vanilla, and thick roasted malts. Creamy and a bit chocolatey sweet on the finish, but much drier than expected. Excellent

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of marzipan, ash, dry dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors of dark caramel, dark sugars, almonds, and roasted malts. The almonds seem to really depreciate the sweetness of the base beer, providing a bit of balance and dryness. Still, I miss the really sweet CFS…

330 ml can.Pours a dark reddish brown with moderate tan head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of candi sugar, treacle, dark honey, dark fruit, and toasty malts. Flavors follow same with a little bit of chocolate. Lots of sweet dark fruit and honey.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, oak, nougat, sweet brandy, and dark toasty malts. Flavors follow same with a little more oak coming though, plus some dark caramel and nice whisky notes. Warm finish. Very good.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate fizzy tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of roasted malts, stale black coffee and hazelnuts. Flavors follow same; richer and a bit creamy. A very good, dry, solid imperial stout.

330m ml bottle. Pours a dark copper color with very little head. Aromas of dry apples, a bit of postage stamp, other nondescript fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of dried apples, thin dry caramel, a bit of honey and toasted malts. Clean, but sweet of the style. Easy to drink

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with slight head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of chocolate fudge, sweet bourbon, vanilla, a little cinnamon and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same but with a much bigger barrel influence; from both bourbon and whiskey. Very nicely done with a dry finish and balanced barrels.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark ruby/brown with quickly dissipating head. Aromas of syrupy caramel, dark fruit, golden raisins and sweet toasty malts. Flavors follow same though not as intense. Warm sweet finish. A very sweet but very enjoyable Barleywine
