MCR July Specials Beer#24. My only Manchester drinking day this month so a sweep of the one-offs. A golden coloured afterthought, which is very easy, and it needed to be after a very full day of mostly thirds, it's a fruity experience, never going to be the fullest of bodies but there's enough here in this three percenter.

MCR July Specials Beer#23 My only Manchester drinking day this month so a sweep of the one-offs and abandoned a trip to Northern Monk for this last in the city as the gut is getting full. A coffee heavy aroma and taste brew, it's roasted as well and this lingers in its aftertaste. Everything is mildly sweet. Black in colour.beer at the station as I wait for the train home.

MCR July Specials Beer#22. My only Manchester drinking day this month so a sweep of the one-offs. A drab hazy golden amber-colour, I wasn't sure I even wanted to try this beer tray-fulfilling brew as my beer goggles had reached no longer care mode, despite four more planned for the day. Tangy on first try, and second, a farmhouse beer in design, its gentle sour character was fine enough, and I'd have enjoyed it more if 20 other brews hadn't have come before it.

MCR July Specials Beer#21. My only Manchester drinking day this month so a sweep of the one-offs. Pseudo fruity, it's there, but never gets there, stalling at a dry hoppiness, but it's drinkable. Its aroma is a bit more tropical than its taste tries to suggest. Not too notable but not the worst.

MCR July Specials Beer#20. My only Manchester drinking day this month so a sweep of the one-offs. Blonde coloured cask pull, the only one of a palate of four. Easy textured and quite smooth, suffering a tad from a weak body and taste, but hoppy enough to please.

Chose this one tonight as I thought the heated version would be quite medicinal after almost getting over a very dry cough of the last couple of days. I wasn't wrong, this pale golden coloured cider when warm does feel palate-friendly against a palate-unfriendly virus. It's sweet and full of different spices, winter-warming in design, good apple tartiness. I did try a little bit cold, however heating this up certainly enhances all the aforementioned, allowing its full character through.
