Ossett Official Pub Walking Tour Beer#2. This straw-blonde second cask of the day is at second Ossett venue of the day in the town's suburbs. Good looking with a citrus base, it's a little watery in texture and taste but hints of grapefruit are found in this session ale. Going down well enough in the afternoon sun on a hot Saturday.

Ossett Official Pub Walking Tour Beer#1. Starting in The Vic on the edge of the town of Ossett with this clear blond pumped up strength citrus ale. There's lots of hoppiness with grapefruit providing the favourable flavour here. Looks good and this sunny day is enhancing that. .

A World Cup Of Beers#31. WALES. An international brew with the football and close to home with this clear golden carbonated ale with a fair bubbly-frothy head. Bitter-sweet, although not stated in either aspect, its texture is favourable and it slips down the palate well. Light citrus with grapefruit the most prominent flavour here, not really found in its aroma though. The last beer opened whilst watching Spain's victory against Belgium in the WC Quarter-finals.

A World Cup Of Beers#30. BELGIUM. An international brew with the football and some balance after the Spanish beer with the two countries currently playing each other. Mildly hazy golden beer, I had no idea it was nine percent from drinking it, only after I looked after plenty of sips already did I get a surprise, but I guess that's part of the magic of this Belgian ale. Fruity and much more stated in this respect than the traditional brews from this region , mild pale malts some bubble-gum, strength more obvious in aftertaste. Drank whilst watching the Spain vs Belgium match.

A World Cup Of Beers#29. SPAIN. An international brew with the football - at least with heritage from the Iberian peninsula for this clear pale golden coloured beer. It's a very hot day so it feels quite refreshing and palate-friendly despite it clearly being bland in taste. It perhaps doesn't quite feel the five percent on the bottle and is maltiest in aroma. I've kind of forced this one on myself given the Spanish are currently playing. Drank whilst watching the quarter-final Spain vs Belgium.

A World Cup Of Beers#28. POLAND. An international brew with the football and a clear golden nicely carbonated lager from Eastern Europe. It's its sugars in this one that makes it stand out, towards the 'icing' variety and providing quite a good flavour here. Aroma and its lager base are quite ordinary though. Drank at the start of the Spain vs Belgium quarter-final game.
