A World Cup Of Beers#16. ENGLAND. Going for one of the WC specials whilst England are playing, and it's about as traditional a beer as it gets as a native brew. Clear golden in colour with a good hop-malt balance, decent bottle-conditioning, some initial bitterness leads to some sweetness, all at a very easy strength. A hint of caramel. Rousing artwork and a replacement of the 'Three Lions' song by 'hogs' going through my mind. Drank whilst watching the final group game for England - Panama vs England.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#7. A sixth in its series beer for my seventh fest brew, which is similar to the last two as a session hoppy ale, and similarly too being light golden in colour. There's hints is sugary-sweet tropical in this one.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#6. Clear golden coloured brew, crisp enough, hoppy in character, with a session easiness about it.

First post Stockport Beer Festival brew, watching USA versus Australia on my phone whilst drinking this golden clear west coast styled IPA. It's full-on grapefruit in both aroma and taste, no other fruit gets a look in. It's not too sweet or bitter.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#4. First keg pour at the festival, one that causes a bit of fire in the palate with its chilli additions. The honey in here is more than evident too and provides the sweetness found in this speciality brew. Blonde coloured tasty craft here.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#3. Not quite fully black, but looks it. Smooth and dryish tasting, with an almost keg style crisp silkiness. In a similar way to keg ales of this ilk it's texture usurps taste with a palatable general dark-maltiness, and some sweetness about this.
