Olut Profile - Brewver

Deadication beer to the singer Donna Summer, died on this day in 2012. It's very much a summer day here in Blackpool with a great vista from the tower - and this beer is perhaps a little heavier than the day allows, not really befitting the sun and heat but full-bodied with a clear strength and mild fruits. Golden with a creamy head.

I remember spending a few nights in a hotel in Blackpool in the 1980"s, revisiting what I think was called The Albany - it's no longer a hotel, nor does it look like any work has been done to the property since I stayed there! This beer found in the Blackpool of today is a crisp hoppy ale with a bitterness. Easy session material and is blonde with a creamy head.

Easter suburbs main road shop conversion micropub, decent sized over two floors. Four cask pumps with a couple of often seen craft keg in the tap options. Benefits from a front terrace with lots of seating.
