(Draft at Strassenbräu, Berlin, 18 July 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, herbs, grass and citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, grass, citrus and a balanced herbal/citric bitterness. Medium body, dry. Crisp, hoppy and refreshing. Nice one.

(Visited July 2025) BrewDog bar just next to Frankfurter Tor U-bahn in Friedrichshain. Interior is the generic industrial BrewDog style: concrete, steel and wood. Fairly spacious. Up to 28 taps, around 20 of them were BrewDog beers on my visit (around a handful of them from the Berlin brewery), the rest a mixture of craft beers from Germany and other European countries. Swift service. Fairly slow on a Friday afternoon. There are better options in the area (Protokoll is a short walk away), but this one opens early, so might be worth a visit.

Fruity, tart taste with citrus, peaches, apricots, elderflower and a hint of salt after a while. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Refreshing. Nice one.

Fruity, tart taste with notes of raspberries, strawberries, citrus and blood orange. No bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

(Draft at Biererei, Berlin, 17 July 2025) Cloudy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and mango. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel, orange, pineapple, white bread and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, hoppy and juicy. Great beer!

Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, elderflower, white bread, spruce needles, yeast and a mild floral/citric bitterness. Medium body, dry. Complex, tasty and quite interesting. Very nice.

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Hoppy, malty nose with herbal hops, bread, grass, flowers, citrus and some resin. Malty, hoppy taste with fresh herbal hops, white bread, citrus, grass, flowers, pine needles, a touch of resin and a generous herbal/grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Rich and tasty, with lots of fresh hops. Very nice.

(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Fruity nose with citrus, grapefruit, funky yeast, gooseberries, green grapes and oak wood. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, gooseberries, oak wood, barnyard, green grapes, green apples and pears. Low bitterness. More than medium body, dry. Tart, fruity and fresh (despite being eight years old). Very nice.

(Bottle, #03307) Dark brown colour with brief, frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly woody nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, dried fruit, raisins, prunes, liquorice and oak wood. Malty, woody taste with caramel, oak wood, balsamic vinegar, dark bread, sour cherries, dried fruit, prunes, raisins, liquorice and a finish with a mild spicy bitterness and a balanced tannic acidity. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Strong, malty, woody and complex. Very nice.
